MSOE, St. Norbert Split NACC Indoor Track and Field Weekly Honors

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Milwaukee School of Engineering senior Jessa Alderman (women's field) and junior AJ Springer (men's track) and St. Norbert College senior Ezra Schermacher (men's field) and sophomore Madison Gramblicka (women's track) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Indoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Feb. 2-8, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

This is the third NACC Indoor Track and Field weekly honor this season for Gramblicka (12/14/25, 01/18/26) and Alderman (01/11/26, 02/01/26) and the second for Schermacher (01/25/26).

Men's Field --- Ezra Schermacher, Sr., St. Norbert College
Schermacher, a senior from Plymouth, Wisconsin, won the pole vault at the Ripon College Red Hawk Invitational by clearing 4.92 meters (16-1 3/4). The mark currently ranks 12th on the NCAA Division III performance list.

Men's Track --- AJ Springer, Jr., Milwaukee School of Engineering
Springer, a junior from Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, won the 800-meter run at the Ripon College Red Hawk Invitational with a time of 1:52.94. Converted to reflect the differences in times between the 200-meter flat layout at Ripon and the 200-meter banked layout that will be used at the national meet, Springer's time of of 1:51.35 ranks sixth on the NCAA Division III performance list.

Women's Field --- Jessa Alderman, Sr., Milwaukee School of Engineering
Alderman, a senior from Janesville, Wisconsin, threw a massive personal best and school record throw in the shot put at the Red Hawk Invite, tossing 14.55 meters (47-9) on her final throw of the competition, improving her previous best by nearly 2.5 feet. Her mark is now second in Division III. She also had a second-place finish in the weight throw with a toss of 16.43 meters (53-11), just two inches off her personal best, and sits 24th nationally.

Women's Track --- Madison Gramblicka, So., St. Norbert College
Gramblicka, a sophomore, set a new NACC record in the 800-meter run with a winning time of 2:16.00 at the Ripon College Red Hawk Invitational. She broke the previous mark of 2:16.05 set by Edgewood's Rachel Ehrhart at the 2023 UW-Oshkosh Titan Challenge. Gramblicka's converted time (from 200m flat to 200m banked) of 2:14.45 currently ranks 21st on the NCAA Division III performance list.
