Aurora's Brown, CUW's Cardinale Named NACC Women's Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Aurora University sophomore Sarah Brown (Louisville, Ky.) and Concordia University Wisconsin senior Katelyn Cardinale (Mount Laurel, N.J.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of March 30-April 5, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

This is the third NACC weekly honor this season for Cardinale and the second for Brown.

Defense --- Sarah Brown, So., D, Aurora University
Brown, a senior defender, anchored an Aurora defense that helped the Spartans to NACC wins at MSOE (10-8) and against Edgewood (12-5). She had eight caused turnovers and 11 ground balls on the week. In the win over MSOE, Brown had five caused turnovers and four ground balls. Against Edgewood, she had three caused turnovers and seven ground balls.

Offense --- Katelyn Cardinale, Sr., A, Concordia University Wisconsin
Cardinale, a senior attack, scored 17 points in two games on 12 goals and five assists. She also had 17 draw controls. In a 19-10 win over Illinois Tech, Cardinale had seven goals, three assists, and seven draw controls. She added five goals, two assists, and 10 draw controls in a 19-0 win over Beloit.
