NACC Qualifies 12 Entries for 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships

INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Committee has announced the participants for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships slated for Thursday-Saturday, May 21-23 at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

A total of 12 entries from five Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) institutions were among the selected entries. Three entries each from Concordia University Wisconsin, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and St. Norbert College were selected, as were two from Edgewood University, and one from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Two competitors qualified for the national meet in multiple events as Concordia Wisconsin distance phenom Ainara Sainz De Rozas was accepted in both the 5,000- and 10,000-meter runs, and Edgewood's Kylee Doherty will compete in both the discus and javelin throws. Sainz De Rozas ranks second on the NCAA Division III performance list in the 5K (16:17.01) and third in the 10K (34:02.86). Doherty takes the fifth-best javelin mark (44.21m; 145-0) into the national meet.

Three other competitors hold seed marks in the top 10 of their events headed to nationals. MSOE's Jessa Alderman holds the top shot put mark in NCAA Division III by over a foot (15.09m; 49-6 1/4), while St. Norbert's Eden Maranell has the eighth-ranked point total amongst accepted entries in the heptathlon (4,846). Amongst NACC men's competitors, MSOE's Austin Springer takes the fourth-best time in the men's 800 (1:48.99) into the national meet.

The women's 10,000-meter run will be the only event to feature multiple NACC competitors as CUW's Emma Ahrens (35:38.04) joins Sainz De Rozas in the field.

For each individual event contested, including the decathlon and heptathlon, the top 22 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. For each relay event contested, the top 16 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted into the competition.
