MSOE's Shaw, St. Norbert Trio Capture Final NACC Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Honors

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Milwaukee School of Engineering senior Adam Shaw (men's track) and St. Norbert College sophomores Jacob Klitzke (men's field), Eden Maranell (women's field) and Madi Crossman (women's track) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the period spanning May 3-14, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Men's Track --- Adam Shaw, Sr., Milwaukee School of Engineering
Shaw, a senior from Minooka, Illinois, rebroke his school and NACC record in the 1,500-meter run at the UW-La Crosse Uncaged Eagle Open on May 10th, running 3:47.44. He is seeded 15th heading into the NCAA Outdoor National Championship

Men's Field --- Jacob Klitzke, So., St. Norbert College
Klitzke, a sophomore from Shiocton, Wisconsin, broke a 54-year old St. Norbert school record in the shot put at the St. Francis Fighting Chance Meet, throwing a heave of 16.56 meters (54-4). The record, which was set in 1971, stood at 52 feet, 3 inches and was the oldest outdoor record remaining. His distance ranks 20th nationally as he qualified for the NCAA Division III outdoor championships. 

Women's Track --- Madi Crossman, So., St. Norbert College
Crossman, a sophomore from Tomahawk, Wisconsin, clocked in a time of 25.65 seconds in the 200-meter dash at the St. Francis Fighting Chance Meet, the fourth-best time in the NACC this season. 

Women's Field --- Eden Maranell, So., St. Norbert College
Maranell, a sophomore from Howards Grove, Wisconsin, placed second in the triple jump at the St. Francis Fighting Chance Meet, going for a distance of 11.76 meters (38-7). That was her second-best jump of the season and with a tiebreaker in the national rankings (20th nationally), qualified for the Division III outdoor championships.
