MSOE, St. Norbert Split NACC Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Honors

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Milwaukee School of Engineering junior Sam McPeak (Dublin, Ohio) and senior Jessa Alderman (Janesville, Wis.), and St. Norbert College juniors Jacob Klitzke (Shiocton, Wis.) and Eden Maranell (Howards Grove, Wis.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of March 30-April 5, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

This is the second NACC outdoor weekly honor this season for both Klitzke and Alderman.

Men's Field --- Jacob Klitzke, Jr., St. Norbert College
Klitzke, a junior from Shiocton, Wisconsin, set a new NACC and St. Norbert record in the shot put at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. His record-setting heave of 17.32 meters (56-10) won Section B of the competition and currently sits fourth on the 2026 NCAA Division III performance list. The mark erased the previous NACC record of 17.14 meters (56-1 1/4) set by Aurora's Steven Tinsley at last May's Augustana (Ill.) Midwest Twilight Qualifier.

Men's Track --- Sam McPeak, Jr., Milwaukee School of Engineering
McPeak, a junior from Dublin, Ohio, won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the UW-Whitewater Rex Foster Twilight. His time of 9:20.24 currently ranks 15th on the NCAA Division III performance list.

Women's Field --- Jessa Alderman, Sr., Milwaukee School of Engineering
Alderman, a senior from Janesville, Wisconsin, posted the top mark in NCAA Division III in the shot put with a throw of 14.91 meters (48-11) at the UW-Whitewater Rex Foster Twilight. She broke both NACC and MSOE records in the event and tops the national performance list by over 2.5 feet. The previous NACC record of 14.81 meters (48-7 1/4) was set by Benedictine's Kash Allen at the 2023 NCAA Championships. Alderman also finished second in the discus throw (41.28m; 135-5) and sixth in the hammer throw (42.49m; 139-5).

Women's Track --- Eden Maranell, Jr., St. Norbert College
Maranell, a junior from Howards Grove, Wisconsin, set a new St. Norbert record in the 200-meter dash at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. Her time of 24.87 seconds tops the NACC performance list by nearly a full second. She also posted the NACC's second-best time in the 100 hurdles (15.24) and fourth-best time in the 800 (2:27.69). Additionally, Maranell recorded the top heptathlon score in NCAA Division III so far this season with 4,846 points. She also posted the NACC's top marks in the triple jump (11.21 meters; 36-9 1/2) at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational and in the long jump (5.44m; 17-10 1/4) at the Texas Relays.
