MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Aurora University senior Nicolina Smith (Aptos, Calif.) and Lake Forest College senior Shannon Gibbons (Stoughton, Wis.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of April 6-12, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Defense --- Shannon Gibbons, Sr., M, Lake Forest College
Gibbons, a senior midfielder, established new career highs with seven ground balls and five caused turnovers, secured a game-high nine draw controls, and added two goals and three assists in an April 8 triumph at Edgewood. She added five draw controls, a ground ball, a caused turnover, and an assist in a 15-9 victory at Concordia Wisconsin on April 11.

Offense --- Nicolina Smith, Sr., A, Aurora University
Smith, a senior attack, scored 14 goals while leading Aurora to road victories over Illinois Tech (19-3) and Lawrence (17-0). She had six goals on nine shots with a ground ball in the win at Illinois Tech, then added eight goals and a ground ball in the win at Lawrence.
