MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Concordia University Chicago senior Melisa Hadzic (Westchester, Ill.) and Lakeland University sophomore Lily Pettit (Rewey, Wis.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Softball Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of April 13-19, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Pitcher --- Lily Pettit, So., Lakeland University
Pettit, a sophomore pitcher, allowed one earned run in 10 innings while earning a trio of victories last week. She improved to 4-0 over her last four starts. Pettit opened the week by twirling a complete-game shutout, scattering four hits and a walk while striking out two in a 1-0 victory over Wisconsin Lutheran on April 13. She followed that up with four strikeouts over three innings in a 12-1, 5-inning win over Alverno on April 18, before throwing a three-hit complete-game in an 8-1 win over St. Norbert on April 19. 

Position Player --- Melisa Hadzic, Sr., C, Concordia University Chicago
Hadzic, a senior catcher, led Concordia Chicago to a 3-1 mark while hitting .529 (9-of-17) and slugging 1.294. She collected ten RBIs, three home runs, two doubles, and one triple over the four games. Hadzic's most notable performance came against Alverno where she picked up a career-high seven RBIs off a grand slam and a three-run homer to push the Cougars to a 14-5 victory.
