Isabella Olmos (Mokena, Ill.) and
Hannah Richards (Poulsbo, Wash.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Softball Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of April 20-26, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.
Pitcher --- Hannah Richards, So., Dominican University
Richards, a sophomore, posted a 4-0 record with one save, 15 strikeouts, and an 0.27 earned-run average in six appearances for the Stars. She appeared in both halves of Dominican's April 22 doubleheader against Benedictine, scattering three hits while striking out four to earn a complete-game victory in game one. Richards came back in relief in game two, recording the game's final out to earn her first save of the year. She tossed her second complete game in as many days in game one at Lakeland on April 23, allowing one run on seven hits while striking out six in the Stars' 2-1, 8-inning victory. Richards combined to allow just two hits and a walk while striking out four over 8.2 scoreless innings en route to weekend wins over St. Norbert and Alverno.
Position Player --- Isabella Olmos, So., SS/2B, Dominican University
Olmos, a sophomore middle infielder, hit .591 (13-of-22) with four doubles, two triples, a grand slam home run, 13 RBIs, 11 runs scored, five stolen bases, and eight walks drawn as the Stars posted a 7-1 mark. Olmos' best game of the week came in a losing effort, going 5-for-5 with two doubles, three RBIs, three runs scored, and a stolen base in an 11-8 loss at Lakeland. She also went 2-for-2 with a grand slam, two walks, two stolen bases, five RBIs, and four runs scored in a 14-3 game one win over Alverno. Olmos tacked on a triple, two RBIs, a run scored, and drew a walk as the Stars completed the sweep of the Inferno with an 11-0 win in game two.
